National Student Research Group

In 1980, the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) recognized dental students as future's research investigators and began to form a group specifically for dental students, now known as the National Student Research Group (NSRG), one of 20 Scientific Groups that comprise the International Association for Dental Research.

The NSRG's purpose is to foster an environment whereby students interested in enriching their dental education are encouraged to do so.

At the UW, we would like to foster such an environment whereby interested dental students may easily find various research opportunities, find guidance from faculty or colleagues involved in research, learn how you get started in research and how to carry it through to presentations and publications, and be linked to other students locally and nationwide also interested in research
