The Department of Oral Biology encourages undergraduates to become involved in student research opportunities. ORALB 449 offers undergraduate students the opportunity to learn current laboratory techniques which will prepare them for further advanced research.
If you are interested in this opportunity, you must first identify a research mentor. You can read about each faculty member and their research interests here. You should then contact the faculty member directly to see if they have any current vacancies in their laboratory and set up an appointment to meet with them.
Prior to meeting with a faculty member, it is recommended that you review some of the publications of that laboratory to become familiar with their current research project(s).
