UW School of Dentistry Faculty Licensure

On Monday, May 2, 2005 Gov. Gregoire signed into law the WSDA-sponsored bill to allow part-time faculty at the UW School of Dentistry to retain faculty-licensure, if they retire from full-time teaching. Practice is restricted to UW facilities and affects only faculty licensed under a special faculty category (typically foreign-trained dentists on the faculty).

The bill was sponsored by Rep. Eileen Cody (2nd from L.). UW School of Dentistry Dean Martha Somerman (2nd from R.) was also present for the bill signing.
