Health Sciences Microlab

The Microlab is located on the third floor of the T Wing within the Health Sciences Library. The lab opens at the same time as the Health Sciences Library and closes 15 minutes earlier. Materials are identified in the UW Libraries Catalog with a shelving location of Health Microlab.

Access to the Microlab is limited to UW Health Sciences students, faculty, and staff. Students currently enrolled in health sciences courses have priority for use of equipment and software. Use of assigned instructional software has first priority. Word processing, email, and other personal productivity software have second priority. Games and personally-owned software are not allowed. Prox Cards and HS Photo ID

If you have lost your Prox Card or Health Sciences Photo ID, contact Zene Tefera. There will be a $11 charge to replace Prox cards.  Replacement HS Photo IDs cost $6.  You may pay by credit card, cash, or check. 

Predoctoral Dental Student Lounge

The Dental Student Lounge is located in C 213 and contains individual mailboxes, computers, printers, seating, microwaves, a refrigerator, a sink, and at least one foosball table. Students are responsible for keeping the lounge wiped down and picked up as well as for cleaning the refrigerator and microwaves.  The Student Council will set rules governing any cleaning procedures and will notify the Office of Student Life and Admissions regarding specific problems or needs.  Permission to use the lounge by groups other than predoctoral dental students must be obtained from the Student Council President.
