Polly S. Ma, DDS, DMD, MSD

Education/Training

Dr. Ma received a D.D.S. from National Taiwan University in 1993. In 2000, she finished her D.M.D at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2004 she received a certificate of Prosthodontics and an M.S.D from the University of Washington.

Research Interests

Dr. Ma's research interests lay in the area of fatigue testing of endodontically treated teeth restored with different post and core systems.

Awards and Professional Service

Dr. Ma is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington (appointed in 2004) in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Division of Prosthodontics.

In the past she has also held a Hospital appointment at the National Taiwan University Hospital, Department of Dentistry (1993-1997)

Dr. Ma holds memberships in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, the Washington State Society of Prosthodontists and American Dental Education Association.

Personal Interests

Dr. Ma has great interest in reading and outdoor activities.
