Anne-Marie Bollen, DDS, MS, PhD, Professor and Graduate Program Director. DDS 1984 University of Brussels; She received her MS in Orthodontics in 1986 and her PhD in Oral Biology in 1990 from the University of Michigan. She is an ABO Diplomate. Clinical: private practice. Research: bone metabolism. |
Geoffrey M. Greenlee, DDS, MSD, completed dental school at the University of Michigan in 1998. He received his MSD and certificate in Orthodontics from the UW in 2000 and then went on to do a fellowship in cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. Geoff pursues his academic interests in teaching and clinical research at his half-time faculty position while finishing another graduate degree in Epidemiology. He also sees patients in the department's faculty practice. |
Sue Herring has a BS (Zoology, 1967) and a PhD (Anatomy, 1971) from the University of Chicago. After teaching anatomy at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry from 1971 to 1990, she joined the UW Orthodontics Department as Professor in 1990. She presently serves as director of graduate research in the Department and also teaches head-and-neck anatomy and basic science topics to postgraduate dental students from several departments. Her research interests center on how craniofacial growth and morphology can be altered by mechanical forces, particularly those exerted by the functional contraction of jaw muscles. |

Douglas S. Ramsay, DMD, PhD, MSD, Professor. DMD 1983, University of Pennsylvania; PhD Psychology 1988 University of Washington; MSD and Orthodontics Certificate 1990 University of Washington. He has a joint appointment with Pediatric Dentistry and in Dental Public Health Sciences. He is currently chair of the Department of Dental Public Health Sciences. He conducts behavioral science research in Dentistry and Orthodontics. He also works in the area of Psychopharmacology. |
