Dr. Thomas H. Morton Jr. DDS, MSD

Dr. Morton received his D.D.S., from Creighton University in 1972, his M.S.D. in Oral Pathology from the University of Washington in 1975, and his Certificate in Oral Pathology from the University of Washington in 1976. He is a Professor in the Department of Oral Biology and the Department of Oral Medicine and is also Director of Community-based Oral Health Science Program.

He has been actively involved with the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Service since 1972 and has served as the Assistant Director of the Division of Oral Pathology from 1979-1980, Acting Director from 1980-1985, and Director from 1985-1991. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

Dr. Dolphine Oda BDS, MSc

Dr. Oda is the Professor of Oral Pathology in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Oda received her BDS Dental degree from the University of Baghdad in 1975 and MSc and a certificate in Surgical Pathology from the University of Manitoba, School of Medicine in 1981 and a certificate in Oral Pathology from Indiana University in 1984 and special training in Oral Pathology at the Armed Institute of Pathology in 1983. Dr. Oda's research is in the field of genetic and molecular changes in oral and GI carcinogenesis. She has over 60 manuscripts published in refereed journals.

Dr. Oda currently serves on the editorial board of the Advances in Surgical Pathology journal and Journal of Contemporary Dental Practice, as well being a reviewer for several other journals, national and international. She also served for six years on the editorial board of Oral Surgery Oral Pathology Oral Medicine Journal. She received her board certification in Oral Pathology in 1987 and has lectured in the field of Oral Pathology locally, nationally and internationally.
