The first session in this series of three safety courses will discuss the most frequently cited violations that WISHA inspectors find in dental offices relating to Bloodborne Pathogens. Do you know what the most common violations are resulting in the big fines? Do you want to know how to avoid them? After a self-evaluation of potential problems lurking in your office, we will devise a plan for your office team to implement the necessary procedures to make your work place safe for patients and office personnel.

The second session will examine Hazard Communication problems revealed from complaints to WISHA and the associated fines. Does your office have a bullet-proof training program for the staff? Is the Hazard Communication Program well documented? How do you minimize the health hazards inherent in the practice of dentistry? What happens if you face a complaint in your office that triggers a WISHA inspection? What are the best ways to deal with these agencies and/or the whistleblower? At this session we will provide you with risk management tactics and mechanisms to address these problems.
