Course Description:
The moment of truth is the recall visit. That is when treatment decisions are made that affect the health of your patients and your practice. The emphasis in this course is on taking the latest in periodontics and packaging it a way that allows you to do what is best for both your patients and your practice. You will learn what we can now say for sure about perio disease and heart disease, diabetes, pre-term low birth weight, arthritis, obesity, etc. You will learn how to incorporate these findings into a risk-based approach to periodontal diagnosis that will work in your practice. TIMOTHY DONLEY is currently in the private practice of Periodontics and Implantology in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Georgetown University School of Dentistry and completing a general practice residency, he practiced general dentistry. He then returned to Indiana University where he received his Masters Degree in Periodontics. Dr. Donley is the former editor of The Journal of the Kentucky Dental Association and is an adjunct professor of Periodontics at Western Kentucky University. His course is part of the ADA Seminar Series. Dentistry Today recently listed him among the Leaders in Continuing Education. He lectures and publishes frequently on topics of interest to clinical dentists and hygienists. |
