Course Description:
This course consists of two hours lecture and one hour hands-on in the oral radiology clinic.
Course Objectives - As a result of attending this course, the participant should be able to:

Discuss principles of digital dental radiology (DDX) systems

Determine things to consider in choosing DDX fro your practice
- Consider principles of CBCT and applications in dentistry
- Identify anatomical landmarks and common incidental findings in CBCT
- Explain CBCT and dental implantology
Instructor:
CURTIS SK CHEN is a Professor in Oral Medicine at the UW School of Dentistry. He received his dental degree from the
National Taiwan University in Taiwan, and went on to receive his Masters in Oral Medicine and PhD in Bioengineering, both from the University of Washington. Dr. Chen has numerous published numerous articles and studies on dental radiography and other digital imaging devices.
