Course Synopsis:

This fall, members of the University of Washington School of Dentistry faculty will offer an intensive five-day lecture on the most current clinical concepts in orthodontics. The enrollment is limited to maximize the learning environment, allowing the participants to interact closely with some of the leading orthodontic clinicians and researchers in the United States. A tentative schedule of the five-day program and a list of the teaching faculty are included in the following pages of program information.

Prerequisites:
All participants must be Board qualified or have been trained in a formal orthodontic program overseas.

Tuition: The cost of this program is $3,750. Full payment (check, Visa or MasterCard) must accompany each application. Tuition for the course includes continental breakfast each morning; refreshment breaks; three hosted dinners in specially selected restaurants; lunches during the Distinguished Professorship in Dentistry Symposium and all course materials. Course fees will be used to cover the costs of the course, and could include, but not necessarily be limited to, any or all of the following expenses at the discretion of the Director of Continuing Dental Education: advertising; audio/visual aids; supplies; room rental; handouts; food service, alcoholic beverages, dinners and social hours.

Credit Hours: Forty credit hours of Continuing Dental Education and AGD credit will be awarded upon completion of this course.

Refunds: A participant may cancel at any time. Tuition will be refunded only if a replacement for the withdrawing registrant can be found by the CDE office. Refunds, if approved, will be subject to a $250 processing fee. The University of Washington accepts no responsibility for travel expenses or penalties incurred by course registrants in the event of course cancellation or revisions in the schedule. A complete refund will be granted to attendees if course participation is not sufficient. If the program sells out, those applications received after will be put on a waiting list in the order received. If a spot does become available, you will be notified within three business days. Those on the waiting list will be given first priority the next year. No payments will be processed unless the individual is accepted into the program.

All of these hotels offer University discounts. Let them know you are attending a course at the UW. The University hotels are fifteen minutes north of downtown and twenty-five minutes from Sea-Tac Airport. Participants must make their own hotel reservations.
